Teresa “T.C.” Cason, REALTOR®, MBA and managing partner of the Realty with Heart team of Realty Executives-Bay Coast in Rehoboth Beach, was recently chosen as one of Delaware Today’s featured women in business. Delaware Today chose over 30 women throughout the state from every aspect of the working world for the December issue that focuses on the successes of Delaware women. Included in the issue are owners of small businesses to executives of major corporations. Delaware Today’s editors chose Cason not only for her success as a REALTOR® but also for her involvement in her local community. Over the past 4 years, Cason has established a successful business with career sales totaling more than $24,000,000. Cason’s expertise includes residential, investment, commercial and development projects. Aside from her busy career, Cason has always made time to participate in local fundraising activities, public speaking and financial management for several non-profit organizations. Just a few months ago, Cason formed a team of REALTORS® known as Realty with Heart where Cason and her teammates maintain the philosophy “Community is Key.” Cason is a strong believer that selling real estate is more than selling homes. “I believe in supporting the communities where we do business,” said Cason. Having always been involved with local charities and organizations such as Big Brothers Big Sisters, Cason decided to form a team of individuals with the same principles in mind including REALTORS® Mary Ann Slinkman supporter of Meals on Wheels and Deb Griffin supporter of Safe Haven Animal Shelter. Each agent is equally as devoted to the real estate industry as to the community in which they are selling. With this in mind, they made a commitment to donate 5% of their sales commission each month to Big Brothers Big Sisters, Meals on Wheels and Safe Haven Animal Shelter.
