On Wednesday, November 29th, Delaware Today hosted a luncheon at the DuPont Country Club in North Wilmington to honor the 30+ women recently featured in their December Issue. This Delaware Today issue targeted the successes of some of Delaware’s most prestigious women in business. With well over 200 individuals in attendance, the luncheon included a networking session and some inspirational guest speakers including Ellisa Opstbaum Habbart, whom recently handled the multi million dollar Bank of Delaware merger with MBNA. The purpose of the luncheon was to honor female business owners and entrepreneurs and give them the opportunity to share their success stories and offer tips and inspiration to others.
The Rehoboth Beach business community had a strong presence at the event. Many individuals attended to offer support to local REALTOR®, Teresa “T.C.” Cason, REALTOR®, MBA and managing partner of the Realty with Heart team of Realty Executives-Bay Coast in Rehoboth Beach. Cason was among the many women featured in December’s Issue. Delaware Today’s editors chose Cason not only for her success as a REALTOR® but also for her involvement in her local community. Shown in the attached photo, Bill Ferreri, broker / owner of Realty Executives – Bay Coast, Deb Griffin, REALTOR® with the Realty with Heart team and Mary Ann Slinkman, REALTOR® with the Realty with Heart team joined Cason at the DuPont Country Club. Among many, the following local businesses were also in attendance, Judy Venturini of Refined Spaces, Cindy Dmiterchik of Décor & You. Amanda Ryan of Ryan Consulting and Kathleen Ryan of KMR Financial.
